The NSW State Office and Sydney Passport Office are in separate locations.
You cannot lodge your passport or document for legalisation at the NSW State Office.

Passports, Certificates of No Impediment to Marriage, Authentications and Apostilles (legalisation)

You can lodge your application for an Australian Passport at an Australia Post outlet.

In certain circumstances you may lodge at our Passport Offices. Lodgement is by appointment only.

Please phone the Australian Passport Information Service on 131 232 for enquiries regarding your application and to schedule your appointment.

Newcastle Passport Office

The Newcastle Passport Office can issue Authentications and Apostilles over the counter during office hours. Certificates of No Impediment to Marriage (CNIs) are not available from the Newcastle Passport Office.
